What's Tigaki Beach like. Tigaki is an enormous beach on the north coast of Kos, it's located on the edge of Tigaki village which is one of the biggest holiday destinations on the island so this is very much a tourist beach and expect it to be busy at all times. Visiting from Kos town would take around 15 minutes as it's just over 10km away.

Tigaki Beach. This is a lovely very long stretch of sandy beach situated in the South of the island some 11 kilometers away from Kos Town. It is very close to the Tigaki Salt Lake on it's Eastern side. There are sunbeds available as well as showers. Nice clean beach and worth visiting. Tigaki Beach was worth visiting. It is along the road side and narrower than other beaches but was good for swimming. We did notice some seaweed but it disappeared after a few days. It was one of the best beaches in Kos for swimming. Visited August 2023. Written September 17, 2023.
